The 100 Day Project - Days 51-58

The 100 day project …

The second half has begun and I’m feeling a bit behind - not actually behind in making the entries, but in posting them. It is more time consuming than I thought with making videos for Instagram and my blog. With that said, I’m not worried about it, and for me, that is progress.

One of the benefits of a project like this for 100 days is that it is helping me grow in letting go of perfectionism. It’s okay to change things in the process, and to not feel that great about an entry. After all, it’s just one in a hundred, right? Yes! This letting go benefit alone has made the project worthwhile.

Fifty entries completed was a milestone and now it feels like another beginning. As you see, the second half started with the most basic of supplies: my journal, pencil, eraser, and permanent drawing pens. I also used a circle template and a compass for some of the entries on these pages.

I’m really wondering, at this point, if I will continue just with my pen and watercolor mediums or if I will branch out. To help me decide, I will peruse Pinterest and revisit my favorite books. Stay tuned!
